Jerry's K-9 Website

Jerry Barnes, owner/trainer of Jerry’s K-9 located in Phenix City Alabama, is a military retired veteran after 20 years of service. Jerry has worked with Military Police K-9 Units, Phenix City Alabama K-9’s, Lonesome Dove and many other organizations throughout the tri-city area and beyond. Jerry spent nine years in Germany and while serving there worked with the German Police K-9 Unit and Schutzen Clubs.

Jerry has been training and breeding dogs for over 30 years. Jerry has trained dogs for many stars and professional athletes: Ray Lewis #52 Baltimore Ravens, AD Thomas #96 New England Patriots, Corey Fuller #24 Baltimore Ravens, John Copeland former Bengal, Marty Carter Tampa Bay Bucs, Deon Sanders while with Baltimore Ravens, Shawn Kemp NBA, Zach Randolph, Dante Culpepper, Donovan McNabb Philadelphia Eagles, Teddy Riley of Black Street, & AJ Calloway, former talk show host of BET 106 N Park (see celebrity photo page).

Jerry currently works at Tuskegee University teaching behavior modification to veterinarian students. Jerry has trained several trainers to become excellent dog trainers and some have become very successful in managing their own business. To name a few: Noah Sanders of Sanders Kennels located in Atlanta Georgia, Julius Henry of Atlanta Georgia, Shawn Boles of Cincinnati Ohio, James Hill of Columbus Georgia and Art Washington of Premier K-9 located in Atlanta Georgia.

Noah Sanders #1 stud Male Presa Canario “Neno” was breed at Jerry’s K-9. Neno is the son of Macho registered name Panda Turf Gaston (see photos throughout website).

Jerry’s K-9 will also have 4 new additions to their breeding stock in middle February (pictures coming soon). We will be the proud owners of South African Boerbels shipped directly from South Africa!
